Ludwick, meaning “famous in battle,” is my grandfather’s last name—a man who has profoundly shaped my life and continues to do so. This company is a tribute to his strength, his resilience, and the legacy he built. My grandfather dedicated 30 years to the Marine Corps, earning numerous achievements, deploying to Vietnam twice, and retiring as a full bird Colonel. Even now, he continues to embody strength as he faces his toughest battle yet—his fight against cancer.

The Ludwick & Co. logo tells a story rooted in family, perseverance, and purpose. The “Ludwick” is written in his own handwriting, making every piece feel like a signature from him—a mark of where we come from and why we do what we do The Edelweiss flower, which blooms in the harshest alpine conditions, represents resilience, bravery, and love. In folklore, it’s a symbol of deep devotion and the courage to endure. The bent nail speaks to the idea that even when we’re beaten down or weathered, we still hold worth and are deeply loved.
